In honour of a Wednesday evening, I decided to tinker something easy and simple. Therefore, I ended up making these tassels. I didn’t want to make those basic embroidery thread tassels, so I added my own twist to it. First of all, instead of tying the tassel, I bent a golden jump ring around it (I also have silver ones but in my opinion the gold went better with them, especially with the black one). I used a jump ring in the top part as well to make it possible to put a chain or a key ring though it. I also didn’t use traditional embroidery thread to make the tassels, but off white cotton yarn and thin black patent-strong yarn.
Tassels are an easy but fun addition to a bunch of keys, necklace, earrings, or a backpack’s zipper. At least it can be used as a stress toy.
