The theme of these jewels is the scouts lily or fleur-de-lis. One of my friends, who happens to be in scouts, turned older and I wanted to give her something related to scouts. Then it came to my mind. What would be a better idea than the most known symbol of the scouts organisation, the fleur-de-lis. Silver I chose as the colour because it reminds me of the metallic medals and completion badges – the cool stuff you know. Metallic paint also reflects the light quite pleasingly.

neck to make these lilies. These are made of polymer clay as well, Fimo soft to be more precise. Even though the clay is fairly easy to manipulate after warming it, I spent a good five hours moulding the 3D shape and adding details. First, I drew the shape on a piece of cling film so that it would be easier to make the lily symmetrical, but the permanent marker stuck to the white clay and made it striped. I guess the zebra pattern would have been a cool curiosity, but I covered it with silver paint.
I think they turned out really good. I know I’m the one who made them but anyhow. :)
