As we’ve all noticed during the corona pandemic, toilet paper is a vital matter. That’s why I decided to waste half a sheet for the quarantiners in my dollhouse and even gave them a few extra rolls so that they’d never have to be surprised by paperlessness. As such small rolls don’t take much paper to make, I decided to use the remaining sheet to make a paper towel roll as well. I would have wanted to make a large pack (like those in stores) of both but lost my motivation. They’ll have to make do with what they have now.
The holder of the paper towels is bent from circa 1mm thick wire and toilet paper holder is made from 0.9cm wide popsicle stick (the base is a 0.9x0.9cm square) and slightly thicker wire. Goes very well with a feverish brain, does not require a ton of thinking.

Later this week I kept enlarging my kitchen tool collection. I made a few different whisks from wire and a wooden rolling pin. The rolling pin is 2.5cm long and rolls just like a life-sized one. There is a drilled hole going through the thick wood part and a piece of wire going from one end to another makes rolling possible. The only problem was my drill’s old and bad battery. Unlike the rolling pin, the whisks were a challenge.

I realised my dollhouse has no baking trays at all and had to make one. It’s made of plastic by cutting a sheet, marking the folds with a blade and folding it into a low tray. Every side acts as a wall and the short sides even have tiny handles that keep the tray in place while in the oven. I painted the baking tray with black chalk paint as it tends to leave a slightly coarse surface after drying. The last step was to fix the paint with Fimo semi gloss varnish. The varnish only reflects some light which makes the tray look used and old. Oh, here are the oven mitts I mentioned earlier.
Well, this became a long post. Thanks for reading the whole thing :)
