Christmas spirit?

Here is a better picture of the candles I mentioned in the last post (the lantern). They have been made around a tealight’s wick. I placed a piece of plastic straw around the wick and poured a tiny amount of stearin in it.

After the wax hardened, I removed the straw and cleaned up the excess wax with a sharp knife and cut the wick shorter if necessary. Lastly, I burnt the end of the wick to make it look like the candle had been used.

I originally made white candles as well, but they have escaped somewhere.
